  1. Data Mining Community’s Top Resource (KDnuggets) – great info for software resources, education, jobs etc.
  2. StatSoft Data Mining Techniques – great info for data mining process, concepts, modeling, data warehousing etc. They even have online Statistics textbook that offers training in the understanding and application of statistics.

Data Mining Algorithms Survey 2010

I just received a copy of the 4th Data Miner Survey report from the Rexer Analytics people. The survey has been participated by about 735 data miners from 60 countries. I am interested in data mining algorithms section of the report which stated that decision trees, regression and cluster analysis continue to form a triad of core algorithms for most data miners.
